According to the information, due to technical maintenance, the portal will remain closed from 8 pm today i.e. 29 August 8 pm to 6 am on 2 September. During this time, there will be no applications and no pre-booked appointments. However, pre-booked appointments will be rescheduled after 2 September. Please note that the effect of this shutdown will also be seen at the passport service center and passport office.

During this time, passport services will be affected in all passport service centers, regional passport offices and the Ministry of External Affairs in the country. At the same time, the passport service portal has said about the pre-booked appointments that they will be rescheduled and information about this will reach the people.
